Baby Basics Express 01/03

Expectant first time parents can learn about common newborn needs and behaviors and how to prepare for bringing baby home. This class includes information about feeding, how to bathe and swaddle your new baby, safe sleep, caring for and calming a newborn, ways to make sure your baby is safe at home, in the car and in an emergency, and tips on how to make this newborn period an easier transition for you.

“Join trained facilitators from Maine Boys to Men for this one-time, 3.5 hour workshop for expectant dads. Learn how to become more comfortable with your new role as a dad by learning important basic skills about caring for an infant and supporting your partner. This program encourages men to be equal participants as caregivers in the parenting of their children and prepares them to make informed decisions about what attitudes and behaviors they want to carry forward.”
