Cesarean Birth 05/16
with Jess Sobey
Registration covers mother and one support person.
Join Labor and Delivery's Jess Sobey RN CNII for a one hour personal discussion of what a Cesarean Birth may mean for you. Whether you are a first time parent or you would simply like more information on what a cesarean birth involves, everyone is welcome to attend a session. Come learn why and how cesarean births are done, what medication is used, medical equipment that is involved, and the recovery process after your birth. You'll learn how Maine Medical Center does "family centered" births, making your experience as natural and comfortable as possible for you. A tour is included in this class.
We recommend attending this class between the 28th and 32nd week of pregnancy.
*This class is free to MaineCare participants. If you have MaineCare, please enter MAINECARE in the promo code section of your class registration.
